Ghost Signs of Tacoma

This series of images represents random painted walls that were encountered in the course of aimless wandering about town. A more systematic survey would yield a large and lovely harvest of ghost signs. It was raining and dark the day I happened to be here with my camera. I spotted a lot more ghosts that I didn't take pictures of because the weather was so bad. I shall return, however; what I saw was too good to pass up.
