SUBMISSION GUIDELINES


Length: Roughly 2,500 to 3,500 words (excluding references). Please include your working title and name(s) of author(s).

Format: MSWord, double-space, 12 pts, Times New Roman, A4 or US letter size.

Text layout: The text layout should be as simple as possible for the purpose of editing later. Use subheading sparingly. Use a single space after each sentence, commas, colons, semi-colons, etc. No indentation except for quoted material of over 40 words in length. Please leave 1 inch margins on all sides. Please also minimize the use of acronyms by spelling out the terms. For non-English terms, please spell out the terms and give English translation afterward in parenthesis once.

Illustrations: Send 5 to 10 images and/or drawings that best illustrate your case study or points. Save as 8” x 10” tiff files at 300 dpi on a CD. Number the illustrations as figures (photos), maps, or tables and include a list of captions and credits for each graphic item in your MSWord document. Please send the CD to:


Bibliography: Please use the author-date system (see the attached APA Style Guide) to format your references and cite them in the main text.

Notes: Please use endnotes if necessary, instead of footnotes.

Chapter Content: For case studies, please include information on when and how the actions took place, who participated and their respective roles, what the outcomes were, and the social, cultural and political context (if applicable), as well as reflections or lessons.
